Chinoiserie is a hand-painted pattern inspired by royal gardens graced by peacocks amongst roses and greenery. This wallpaper has a chalky plaster finish background and is full of beautiful details. Chinoiserie is perfect for every interior, to complement wood paneling or as a feature wall.
Chinoiserie was originally a French word referring to a decorating style dating back to the 1700s when inspiration
was sourced from China.
In this variant, Chinoiserie is rendered in terracotta pink with details in olive green, terracotta and light pink.
The wallpaper is printed to order, customizable to suit the dimensions of your walls.

Standard

It is our primary recommendation—and the preferred choice among professional installers. It offers a smoother installation process and consistently delivers flawless results.
We recommend this option if you are wallpapering:

Peel & Stick
Our Peel & Stick wallpaper (Self-adhesive | Non-woven) is perfect for those who enjoy updating their spaces more frequently or need a temporary solution. This removable option offers both ease and flexibility.
Ideal for:
- Children’s rooms
- Dormitories
- Events
- Smaller spaces or feature walls
We do not recommend installing Peel & Stick on material as shown below:
- Textured or structured surfaces
- Untreated plasterboard or drywall
- High-gloss painted walls
- Areas with significant temperature or humidity changes (e.g., bathrooms)
- Ceilings
Our Peel & Stick wallpaper should be installed within six months. The wallpaper should be stored in normal conditions and at normal temperatures without sun exposure

Technical Peel & Stick Sample
When ordering samples, you have the option to include a technical Peel & Stick sample. This is available exclusively for on-demand printed wallpaper murals.
This sample allows you to test the material's adhesion and compatibility with your specific wall surface.

- The surface and color quality will match that of our standard wallpaper, so you can expect the same finish and tones when using Peel & Stick.

Specification & Installation
This item is a custom printed wallpaper and comes in 19.3" wide rolls.
The murals from Boråstapeter Studio are printed on full-width strips, which is why the width options in the drop-down list are provided in set increments of 19 inches.
The wallpaper will be printed to the exact measurements you provide in the "request a quote" form. If you're wallpapering multiple walls, measure the width of each wall and combine the measurements. Make sure you add at least 2 inches to the width and height to have some material to cut off, as no wall is perfectly straight.
All our wallpapers are made of non-woven materials.
How to install:
Roll out your wallpaper on a clean table and cut off each strip on the scissor markings (you will see scissor markings where to cut strips according to your ordered length and width). Every other strip is upside down and needs to be flipped around to the right way. All strips are numbered in hanging order from left to right, to ease the installation process and direction. Always use a non-woven adhesive (paste), avoid so-called combination glue. And do not overlap the strips.

Our orders of samples ship for free with USPS from our showroom in Florida.
Free shipping on orders of wallpaper rolls over $150. $45 shipping rate on roll orders under $150. We use UPS, FedEx and DHL for all wallpaper roll orders.
Within the US: Regular, estimated lead time (from order to delivery) is 6-8* business days on orders of regular wallpaper rolls. The estimated lead time for our customized wallpaper is 10-15* business days.
Please note that we aim to dispatch all orders within 2-4 business days, subject to payment clearance and stock availability. Our business hours are Monday to Friday, excluding Swedish and American public holidays. Estimated delivery times are provided as a guide and will begin once your payment has been processed. Please be aware that we are not responsible for any delays caused by destination customs clearance processes.
*Additionally, we would like to inform you about tariff changes set to take effect in April 2025, which may impact both our business and your orders. As most of our wallpaper orders are shipped from our manufacturer in Sweden, part of the European Union, the lead time for certain items may increase by 2-3 business days due to these changes. To help mitigate potential delays or customs issues, we will be bringing select goods to our showroom prior to shipping them to customers. This approach will remain in place until we identify the best solution for managing the impact of the tariffs.
Orders to Canada: Due to the ongoing uncertainty surrounding the implementation of tariffs between the US and Canada, we have made the decision to temporarily suspend shipments to Canada. We will resume operations once we have a clearer understanding of the situation.
Standard products purchased through Scandinavian Wallpaper may be returned for any reason within 45 days from your original purchase from our website. We recommend ordering a sample of the items before purchasing the rolls, as the color may appear differently on your screen.
Items must be returned in their original (still in plastic wrapping) product packaging. A 25% re-stocking fee will be applied to wallpaper returns. Return shipments must be made in appropriate packaging and at customer's expense. Once the returned wallpaper has been verified in good condition a refund will be issued. Wallpaper samples may not be returned for any reason. Contact us at cs@scandinavianwallpaper.com with your return request.

You have no right to return a product made to your specifications or that is clearly personalized. As a general rule, all of our photo-walls/murals are made to our customer’s specifications or are clearly personalized.
