What is a double roll of wallpaper?

reply: A "double roll" is the European standard size of wallpaper rolls compare to the US standard size called "single roll". All of our wallpaper rolls are double roll and the size of the roll is what you find in "Specification" on each item. A double roll is still just one roll.

reply: The easiest way to calculate the number of rolls you need is to use the roll calculator found on each item on our website.

Should I order a sample before ordering the rolls?
reply: We recommend ordering a sample of this item before purchasing the rolls, as the color may appear differently on your screen.

What does "Non-woven" mean?

reply: Non-woven wallpaper is a type of paper that contains polyester fibres. This means that the paper remains strong when wet and does not swell. All our wallpaper are "Non-woven" wallpaper.

Do the walls need to be lined before hanging the wallpaper?

reply: The wallpaper itself does not require a liner, but if the wall has light texture a liner can smooth it out so that the texture doesn't show through the wallpaper. The wall does not have to be perfect by any means, but a rough texture will show through especially in the one-colored sections. An option to liner could be skim-coating the wall, which may be required if you have a really rough texture.

Can I wallpaper my bathroom?

reply: Our wallpapers are not rated for use in wet areas according to current building standards, although it’s obviously fine to wallpaper an area with just a toilet and a washbasin, where the humidity levels are significantly lower than in a bathroom fitted with a shower or bath.
